The character all over Lenggries is often a hiker's paradise with lots of alpine pastures and mountain huts. The best mountain is the Schafreuter within the Karwendel at two,106 metres. Within the south lies the fjord-like Sylvenstein reservoir with opportunities for swimming, stand-up paddling,
